Let’s talk about some additional elements that make your video special.
Depending on your stories and our project scope, we might capture what’s called “b-roll” on the interview day. This is supplementary footage—perhaps your hands working on a favorite hobby, family heirlooms, or meaningful locations around your home. These visuals add richness to your stories and help bring your memories to life.
I also digitally collect any photographs or documents you’d like included. You can share these with me as hard copies, on a flash drive, or through a cloud service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud—whatever is easiest for you.
Often, I carefully enhance each image—removing dust spots, improving clarity, and ensuring they look their best. Then I’ll place them thoughtfully throughout your video, right where they best support your stories.
Don’t worry if you’re not sure which photos to include prior to filming; once you review your video, you can always provide additional images and input on where you’d like them placed. Sometimes hearing the stories helps you remember which photos would be perfect!
