Extend the length of your Mini-Doc Edit

Essential Edit

Once our interview day is finished, your media is lightly edited to create a polished viewing experience. I enhance the colors to make your videos look beautiful and add chapter markers throughout the entire interview, making it easy to navigate to specific stories or topics you want to revisit.

I also add screen text to clarify names, dates, and historical details mentioned during the interviews. Additionally, I incorporate your historical photos and documents as overlays along the interview timeline. These images are provided by you either as physical copies (which I can scan) or shared digitally.

Review Process: One proof cycle is included. You’ll review the finished video through a private online link at your convenience. All requested changes should be submitted in a single document within ten days of receiving the proof link.

Mini-Doc Edit

When you choose the Mini-Documentary package, it includes everything from The Essential Edit along with a custom-made 20-minute film. We’ll discuss which stories and topics to highlight both before and after your interviews are recorded.

In post-production, I weave together your most compelling stories with your historical photos, custom graphics, screen text, and carefully chosen royalty-free music to craft a cinematic experience. This process usually takes three to six months and results in a priceless family heirloom to be treasured for generations.

The Documentary package includes everything from The Essential Edit plus a comprehensive 45-75 minute film that tells your complete story. Like the Mini-Documentary, we’ll work together on story selection, and I’ll craft a full-length documentary featuring your interviews, historical photos, custom graphics, and music.

You’re welcome to provide any historical movie or video footage you’d like incorporated. This extensive editing process also takes three to six months.
