Archiving Your Legacy
Finally, let’s talk about something crucial—protecting your family treasure for the future.
Please be redundant with your backups! Save your video files in at least two different places. I recommend one copy in cloud storage and another on a physical hard drive or flash drive. Consider placing a copy in a safe deposit box, fireproof safe, or with your attorney.
Most importantly, tell at least one trusted person where these files are stored. After putting so much care into recording your stories, we want to make sure they can be easily found and enjoyed.
Your stories are invaluable, and with proper archiving, they will remain a lasting part of your family’s legacy.
Thank you for trusting me with your stories. I’m truly honored to help you create something special for your family!
